Good Times at Cedar Rapids .NET User Group

12/8/2004 3:52:00 PM
I presented on ASP.NET 2.0 at the Cedar Rapids .NET User Group on Monday night. We had a very good turnout (30+ folks I think) and a nice mix of first time attendees and old timers. Eric Johnson is the UG leader and is doing a great job organizing and promoting the group. Of course, he has a great group of volunteers as well helping him out. It is great to interact with groups that are really making an effort to develop a community. Great job guys!!! And let me know if you need anything.

The slides for the session are already in the Downloads section of the site. Doing an overview is always tough because I like to really explain things and there just is not enough time to do ASP.NET 2.0 justice in only 90 minutes (especially when I said I would only take 75 minutes!). But it cetainly wets the appetite and makes people jazzed about the future. Now if we can only ship it!!!!
