Ok, off to a so-so start at MIX. Why so-so? Well, breakfast was sub-par for a Microsoft event in my opinion. This is a small venue and to have a continental breakfast just seems wrong. And my orange juice had pulp in it - I HATE PULP! Boy, I sound a bit whining don't I!!!?
The event certainly has a different feel than other Microsoft events. I atttribute that largely to the smaller scale, but I also think we have a lot of folks that typically don't come to Microsoft events, so things are bit more subdued as folks try and get a feel for what this is all about. It is strange to see a lot of folks walking around in sports coats and dress shirts!!!!
