My IE7 Compliant #1

5/4/2006 6:25:27 AM
I finally got around to using IE 7 Beta 2. Ok. That is about the best I can say right now. However, it has one glaring annoyance that it shares with Firefox - the way you close tabs!!! Why do I have to actually click on a close icon or use a right-click action?!?!?!

It is this feature along that has caused me to stick with my Maxthon browser. In Maxthon, you want to close a tab, bang - double click it and it closes. You don't have to select the tab and then click the close button. No right-clicking and finding the right context menu option to close the tab. Rapid-fire tab closing via double-clicking rocks. Open a bunch of tabs as you search and follow links - all done, close just the tabs you want by double clicking.

Simple, fast, easy!
