I love great stories, and I really love great customer stories that use .NET.  Big surprise I know!

SuperBuild.com is a poster child for what can be done with .NET in a .COM environment.  This site rocks. SuperBuild using the complete stack of Microsoft technologies.  Starting at SQL Server, including BizTalk, and of course, IIS with ASP.NET and Visual Studio.  This cool implementation runs the gamut from providing web front ends to web services.  The main web site is only a portion of what they do since they provide software as a service to other partners such as HGTV.com and some of the big home improvement companies.  Talking with their technical guys is a ton of fun because they are doing real world .NET 3.0 stuff like ASP.NET AJAX, WCF, and more.  And then hearing them tell good stories around code quality and productivity from Team Foundation Server is just icing on the cake.

The whole LAMP / open source buzz is fairly high right now in the web space, but sitting down with SuperBuild just shows how compelling Microsoft's integrated offerings really are.  Good stuff!!!!
