Compute Cluster Server 2008, Jump-Start: Train-the-Trainer

11/15/2007 9:08:12 AM

Have in interest in High Performance Computing?  Microsoft will be hosting a train-the-trainer event in Redmond on Dec 4th and 5th, 2007 for people to gain experience with pre-release Compute Cluster Server 2008 (CCS) technologies.  The agenda addresses both IT-Pro and Developer High Performance Computing (HPC) interests.

EXPERIENCE:  Discuss clustered computing solution scenarios with Microsoft HPC technology specialists.

ROADMAP:  Review the HPC platform technology roadmap for Windows HPC.

SOLUTIONS:  Identify integrated solution scenarios leveraging Windows platform technologies.

ENABLE:  Equip yourself to architect integrated solutions leveraging HPC platform technologies.

This 2-day workshop introduces Microsoft Compute Cluster Server 2008 (aka “v2”), Microsoft’s next-generation high-performance computing offering. You will have an opportunity to discuss and try for yourselves the significant advancements coming in the area of cluster management, scalability and performance.  Some familiarity with CCS “v1” or general High Performance Computing solution scenarios is helpful.
